-
To work with people to help them navigate their problems and tend to their needs. I take a collaborative approach, whereby I acknowledge each individual is their own expert, and combined with my experience and education, we work together to work towards meeting your needs. By creating a safe space for individuals to learn, heal, grow, and change, individuals have the opportunity to develop resilience and balance.
Why emergency service workers?
One of the most difficult decisions for someone who works in emergency services is to recognize their own need for help.
Nurses, correctional officers, 9-1-1 dispatchers, paramedics, police officers, firefighters, hospital and nursing home staff, social workers, and therapists. All of these positions, and more, involve individuals who put others first. People who day in and day out help create a better, safer, and happier life for other people. The question is: who supports them?
